WebThere are many stories about why there wasn´t a Spider Man 4 but the most common version i´ve read is that everyone was in for the movie (actors, director and Sony) but Sam Raimi didn´t want to to screw up again. He was struggling to write a good script that delayed the schedule of the movie so much that Sony started to consider the reboot.
