WebI have a first year Snorkel Valiant, by that I mean in 1952 when they first came out they had a 14K solid gold snorkel tube. This allows me to ink with even iron gall (to some extent) such as R&K Salix or some of the KWZ iron galls. But I also re-sac'd the pen with a PVC sac which is perfectly fine because the snorkel uses a metal sac protector.
