Nose: The nose opens with a rich vanilla custard note and cinnamon. Enlivening mint and orange zest scents emerge at the end. Palate: Vanilla, cinnamon, and orange are prominent on the palate too. WebSep 10, 2024 · After a nearly three year absence from the market, Michter’s then Master Distiller Willie Pratt finally gave the green light for the re-release of Michter’s 10 Year Straight Rye in April 2014. TASTING NOTES: Deep notes of vanilla and toffee, toasted almonds and cinnamon with an ample dose of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus.

WebWith the 10 year bourbon being stupidly hard to find and the older stuff living on the Mount Olympus of Unicorn Land, Michter’s Small Batch Bourbon is the only option for most people. This is the most affordable and somewhat accessible bourbon that Michter’s makes. Whether that’s good or bad, I don’t know yet, but that’s the point of this review.
