Just noticed this today... knocking noise coming definitely from the bell housing area on the transmission... sounds as if the torque converter bolts are loose. There was a thread that someone else posted a video of this noise and the dealer fixed it. If anyone can lead me to that thread that ... SpletRemove the bolts at the bell housing after the tractor is fully supported. If your jack is at the wrong end, the tractor halves will flop over! BAD NEWS! Be careful. Once the bolts are out- the tractor should slide apart fairly easy. You might need to remove the drive shaft on 4wd tractor to allow the tractor to split. Roll the 2 halves apart. IIRC there isn't room under the truck for the tools. I'd also guess it would take about the same amount of time to swap the bell housing as to drill and tap it in place.
